Manaslu

Manaslu at Region is located near to the border of Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means "The Spirit-Mountain" in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Trekking in Manaslu is one of the most delightful adventures. Manaslu trek was officially opened in 1991 which is lies between the two big rivers, the Budi Gandaki and the Marshyangdi. This area offers a combination of rich cultural heritage, unsurpassed beauty and biological diversity. Trekking in Manaslu region is one of the most spectacular treks in the Himalaya which is located in the eastern part of Nepal offering impressing natural scenery. Manaslu was attempted by Japanese expeditions every year from 1952 until 1956, when the first ascent was made then its became known as a '”Japanese Mountain”.
